New Blog for Architects Inspired by the ’500 Days of Summer’
Inside The Exterior, a new blog for architects and building industry designers launches today. Inspired by the movie, “500 Days of Summer”, the blog’s creator, Denese Bottrell taps into a designer’s creative, problem-solving mindset, and that architect eye that sees possibility where others see chaos.
Through Bottrell’s experience developing the books, “Streetscapes” and “The Value of Design” with James Hardie Building Products, she noticed that architects experience the world differently than most. She was reminded of this when she saw the movie, “500 Days of Summer” about an aspiring architect who had given up on his dream to write greeting cards from a cubicle. Throughout the movie you see the city of Los Angeles, life and love through his architect eye – the one that sees possibility in everything.
