Digital Experiences Drive Customers

Businesses these days have more chances of getting exposure than ever before, and if you have one it’s better if you read this.
Having an online presence, even if your products and/or services aren’t internet related, is good for your business. Adding more social networking services tools such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. to your site will make it even easier for you and your customer to interact. To further prove this, a report from FEED: The Razorfish Digital Brand Experience Report says:
“The ‘connected consumer’ is hungry for engaging online brand experiences,” said Garrick Schmitt, Razorfish Group Vice President of Experience Planning and FEED editor. “Conventional wisdom says consumers don’t want brands encroaching on their social space, but according to our findings, this simply isn’t true. Consumers are actively engaging with brands online, whether that’s ‘friending’ them on Facebook or writing a review on Yelp, and these experiences are shaping their perceptions – and loyalty – to those brands.”
Although this may be a boon to most businesses, but you also need to consider that you’ll need someone to focus on this job as more and more customers interact with you through various social networking services. However, it’s a double edged sword: the more you have them, the more response you have to do. If you think you can do it alone, then it would be fine, but expect a lot of customer related problems as well such as trollers, and competition ganging up on you (just like in the real world).
Good luck!
