Scuba Gear Web Store Debuts Brand New Blog
For nearly nine months, popular website www.ScubaGearResort.com has been able to provide people with high quality and affordable dive gear necessary for having a fun and safe experience going underwater. The site was founded by recreational divers Carsten and Pat Olesen in November 2008.
The Olesens gathered their collective knowledge and launched the site, which encourages people from all walks of life to try scuba diving, and offers snorkeling and scuba equipment at low prices.
“If I could do it, anybody can,” said Pat. “There was one point where I could not put my head under the water.”
For a website that’s under a year old, Scuba Gear Resort has a rather respectable catalog and numerous products that most brick-and-mortar would only carry as seasonal merchandise and not to the extent that the web store does.
“We were trying to create an e-store that is fresh and clean,” said Carsten.
“We also wanted a good, well-rounded selection and also wanted something that people could navigate around easily,” added Pat.
Recently, Scuba Gear Resort has added a new feature – an educational blog, www.TheScubaGearGuru.com.
The blog features helpful hints in regards to both snorkeling and scuba diving and how to make the equipment work for its users.
