Probloggers in Disguise

How does one distinguish a blogger from a problogger? A blogger is normally one who simply blabs away through blog posts what he feels like blogging about while a problogger does research, follows protocol such as hyperlinking and giving due credit to where he got the source of his post. But is that all that is needed?
There have been a lot of sites that hire bloggers for a living. But the problem is, the professional nature is often overlooked. Like for example, if you are tasked to make a daily blog post, is it not your duty to make sure to check first if there are other bloggers who have made the same post on the same site? All it takes is to check the “MANAGE” button inside WordPress and skim through the previous blogs posted. Is that so hard to do?
As a problogger, your attention does not have to be called. It is your duty to check first and then blog if it has not yet been posted. If you cannot do this, then you are a problogger in disguise, caring less of what you blog and trying hard to be a professional blogger when you are not.
