Job Satisfaction Blues
Similar to goal-setting today, we often find ourselves yearning for the best jobs we can possibly land. But the problem is, we have set too high goals for ourselves to make it achievable. Consider these things we often make as benchmarks in job satisfaction:
- Salary
- Career Growth
- Working Hours
- Accessibility
- Office Politics
- Corporate Structure and Performance
Show me one person who would not consider these things and I will shake his hand whole-heartedly. Surely, we are all aware that job satisfaction is far from being achieved in the modern day of work. We will always find something to complain about and even go to the extent of threatening to look for other jobs.
Today’s news is different. You have to land a job first and then think of these personal motifs. Life is just hard today and you have to set aside your personal goals if you want to earn a decent living.
